‘Scrumptious Sandwiches’ in Surry Hills.
Centennial Plaza, 280 Elizabeth st, in between Albion and Faveaux. A little hard to find in there, but keep looking!
Lashings in Five Dock, hidden amongst houses it gets u to come back purely for the awesome chicken burgers..

Best burgers are at Prestons Trash & Treasure market. Made by a Turkish lady these are as traditional old Aussie as you can get. Large but not too large, great mince, lots of beetroot and fresh salad veggies, perfectly done fried onions (yes Maccas etc –this is as important as beetroot!)–and if you get burger with the lot well there’s bacon galore, not overdone egg, real cheese and a perfectly toasted bun…oh but as for the egg and bacon rolls…well…mmmmmm to that too.

At Sydney International Airport the best burger for value is at Montreux Jazz Cafe located before customs checkpoint (landside) – 200gm of pure Aussie beef served with chips for $10.
