The Lane Cove River Tourist Park is a great camping place located within the Lane Cove National Park and less than 15 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. They offer the “My First Time Camping” program which is fantastic for first-time campers.

Near-ish Sydney in booderee national park is green patch. Fish, surf, watch dolphins in the bay with up to date camp facilities and excellent local trais for mtn biking and hiking.

Upper Colo Reserve is amazing. Feels like a million miles away and it’s at our doorstep. Beautiful clear river shallow enough for the kids to play in, can light a fire at night and has onsite facilities.
