  1. No competition for this one; The Basin at Pittwater is profoundly wonderful. Secluded yet accessible. Quiet yet communal. Walking, riding, boating, swimming, fishing and day dreaming mandatory.

  2. All above good. Best is Basin in Pittwater, via Palm Beach Ferry. next is Euroka Clearing in lower Blue Mountains, with lots of kangaroos.. enjoy.

  3. Upper Colo Reserve is amazing. Feels like a million miles away and it’s at our doorstep. Beautiful clear river shallow enough for the kids to play in, can light a fire at night and has onsite facilities.

  4. Near-ish Sydney in booderee national park is green patch. Fish, surf, watch dolphins in the bay with up to date camp facilities and excellent local trais for mtn biking and hiking.

  5. Only 10 kms from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and located within Lane Cove National Park at Plassey Road, Macquarie Park. No peak rates rither.
