  1. Definitely Fairlight and Manly.
Love the beaches, cafes, and shops, and the transport links across Sydney…especially the ferry!

  2. Edgecliff. The suburb with the railway station that is used by the harbourside eastern suburbs, ie Darling Point to Watsons Bay. Conveniently located between the City and Bondi Junction. 3 supermarkets to chose from (Coles, Aldi & Harris Farm). Also easily accessible to Paddington.

  3. Jannali – 35 minute train ride from the city, 15 from Royal National Park and Cronulla Beach. Quiet, leafy and really good Indian and Italian restauants.

  4. I love Abbotsford as it’s close to Sydney but you feel like your amongst some tree lined areas in the mountains with cafes and food stalls

  5. Paddington! Oxford Street, 5 Ways, Close to Ruchcutters Bay, Centennial & Moore Park, Fox Studios and Surry Hills. Variety of Food and Clothing, Markets, Style, Amazing Terrace houses, the occasional celebrity siting and smack bang between Bondi Junction and the CBD!

  6. Has got to be Coogee in the winter. No tourists. Beautiful beach, wonderful dining and superb community/village feel… sans backpackers. LOL

  7. There are too many great suburbs in Sydney to pick only one. But if I had to choose it would be postcode 2000. The city is where I want to end up living. It has the lot.
