Where is your favourite bookstore in Sydney?

Post image for Where is your favourite bookstore in Sydney?

There’s stacks of stores if you’re hunting a Sydney book shop, but which is greatest?

Some are reliable for second hand books, others for cookery books. Perhaps you can think of a good Sydney university book store for books for university.

When you shop for books in Sydney, where do you pay a visit to?

Kinokuniya in The Galeries Victoria. It’s big, organized and convenient.

Berkelouw Books – Newtown. Tucked away from the King St madness in an old warehouse space, this branch holds a decent second hand collection and a great little cafe upstairs where you can look over the laneway while perusing your purchases.

I’ll agree with Kinokuniya for new books, my choice in second hand would be Elizabeth’s – Pitt St or King St Newtown, either is good.

Kinokuniya in TGV, or the little one near Cronulla station. There’s a great one on George Street in The Rocks too!
