Where is the best barber shop in Sydney?

Going to a barber shop is a regular habit for many blokes, and many prefer it over finding a Sydney hairdresser or haircut salon.

So which are the best mens barbers salons in Sydney to get good mens hair cuts, and what makes them so good? Are they a cheaper hair barber, or really terrific quality?

A couple of often nominated great mens hairdressers and barbers are Grand Royal Barbers and Lawsons Mens Hair. But, what is the best barber shop in Sydney and what makes them so fantastic?

  1. Perfect quick cuts rockdale , best service , clean, always good timing , busy shop with great welcoming skills, makes u actually want to come get a haircut not only to get a great clean cut but also to see the boys in action, there skill is great and there work attitude is good, they treat every customer with great respect , love those guys

  2. For the love of god, don’t go to Sterling Barbers in Surry Hills. I got what has to be, the worst hair cut I’ve ever had. I actually have hair that looks like Beaker from the Muppets now. Not only did the non haircut and beard trim cost me $65, but it only took 30 minutes, I’m sure he was being cruel on purpose by pressing the electric razor hard into my neck, but now I’m going to have to go back and get it fixed by another barber and part with even more cash.

Others might say this place is brilliant, maybe James, the monster who ruined my hair, is just a really bad barber. Not chatty, totally aloof. Just stay away if you know what’s good for you.

Grand Royal Barbers are pretty good though. Just a tad bit on the expensive side.

  3. Definitely Jim’s Hairdresser on Broughton St, Kirribilli. I’ve never had a bad cut and you’re guaranteed to have a good laugh & a chat. A true friendly local barber.

  4. Perfect quick cuts rockdale . The sabra brothers are awesome with the designs an hair tattoing an straightining

  5. This is the best barber shop in Sydney -441 Pacific Hwy – Frank and Michaels Hairdressing (in the arcade between Willoughby and Pacific Hwy , just down from New Orleans Cafe).
