Where do you take visiting friends in Sydney?

When friends visit from interstate, where’s your favourite places to take them sightseeing around the city?

Share around your ideas – then none of us will be stuck for interesting ideas when friends come to stay in town!

Thanks to @rorybaust for today’s suggestion.

  1. Drive north to St.Albans Pub, you see beautiful scenery, cross the river on a ferry and see very interesting locals. Blue Mountains great too

  2. friends love to be taken to the many historic houses in and around Sydney, as well as Hyde Park Barracks, Police & Justice Museum, Museum of Sydney, Sussanah Place Museum the list goes on and on. There are too many fantastic places to visit in Sydney – something for every taste.

  3. Many places !! Firstly Opera house and a walk at harbour bridge , coast walk Bondi to Coogee, Bondi RSL for a drink at sunset .

  4. Too many! Take in the breathtaking views and walks at Blue Mountains, a dip in the waters at Bronte, romance the routes at Hunter Valley, and cruising the million dollar views of the harbour on the ferry!

  5. To the beaches! Manly and Coogee. For drinks I love to go to the Glenmore Rooftop for a casual Rocks vibe with cheap(er) drinks and great views of the harbour.

  6. Opera Bar for a drink at sunset – followed by dinner at cool creative Phamish in Darlinghurst. You can’t beat the food there, absolutely awesome.
