Where are the most unusual bars in Sydney?

Sydney’s bar culture has been undergoing something of a renaissance in the past few years. With the growing popularity of smaller bars like the popular Grandma’s Bar, there’s a number of Sydney cocktail bars with some seriously out-there bar concepts – but they’re pretty damn cool. What is the most unusual or quirky bar you’ve visited around Sydney recently?

Some bars manage to pull off the unusual bar concept really well – we’re a big fan of Stitch Bar on York Street in Sydney CBD. With all those sewing machines, you might think you’ve accidentally entered a tailor shop, but it’s just a damn cool cocktail bar!

Shirt Bar on Sussex Lane in the city is also another delightfully original and unusual bar concept. In between your selection from their wide range of scotch, there’s a range of menswear to purchase within the bar as well.  Have you seen any unusual bars in Sydney which top this?
