  1. Hogs Breath in St Marys is fantastic for GF. Also the Golden West in Winston Hills is fab for GF chinese food. Have eaten there many times. Zest is a great place for amazing gf cakes in Cherrybrook.

  2. If you look, there is some great gluten free feasts out there. Delishus tapas restaurant In Richmond, outside Sydney, has an eight page spanish menu of small items, mainly ranging $9 – $15. Half the items are true blue gluten free. Four plates were enough for the two of us for lunch. They also stock Ambar gluten free spanish beer, which was selected at a recent beer tasting as a drink worth stocking regularly on the menu

  3. For eaters in the Sutherland Shire, Georgie Porgies in Miranda has a great range of quality cakes, cookies and snacks that are gluten free. Located on Level 2, Westfields Miranda opposite Esprit, YD & Portmans. Serving fresh salads for GF and last but not least some amazing coffee!

  4. Haven’t found good shop bought gluten free bread yet. Texture too tough, too expensive. I bake my own, using mixture packet of maize flour and rice flour from Aldi. ‘ Has NO’ brand. Not too bad, if I may say so..

  5. Museum of Contemporary Art cafe, on the 4th floor roof is best so far. Appropriate sharing plates and salads are clearly marked GF. Good prices, and one of the best views of the quay in Sydney, without breaking the bank.

  6. Last night went to montezumah’s mexican restaurant in Crows Nest. May not be the best gluten free in Sydney but this list needs to get started. The food was well priced, generous and the place was very kid friendly at early night. They have a special menu for intolerance and dislikes.

  7. Still too few realise the size of the customer base. One menu I found a year ago had the letters GF alongside appropriate dishes.
